Can you mail a dog USPS?

Since it does not meet Department of Transportation standards, USPS-produced packaging, including Flat Rate containers, is not eligible for shipping live animals. Publication 52 has information on the requirements for packaging to ship live animals.
Can you ship a dog via UPS?
Live animals will only be accepted for transportation when shipped by any UPS service that guarantees delivery the next day. Shipments must not be offered to UPS on Fridays or before a holiday in the origin or destination country.
